BSNL in talks with private operators for roaming agreements
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  06 Sep 2008

BSNL and private operators are reported to be in talks over sharing each other’s network for roaming services.

The move is likely to benefit the subscribers of private operators who will have access to mobile network even in rural areas. For BSNL it will mean additional revenues and optimum utilization of spare network capacity.

BSNL is already involved in a similar deal with MTNL.
