Irdeto, a provider of content and business model protection solutions and services, said it has inked an agreement to deploy its end-to-end SmartStart solution for the DTH operations to Videocon’s media arm, Bharat Business Channel Ltd.(BBCL) under the name “D2H+”.

The D2H+ service will be powered by the Irdeto DVB SmartStart complete pay TV solution, with the package comprising of Irdeto DVB conditional access solution, the Irdeto IBS modular customer care and billing system, and Irdeto IDway-J set-top box middleware with EPG.
