Akhil Gupta awarded with around 0.5 % ESOP stake in Bharti Infratel

Akhil Gupta, Vice-Chairman and MD of Bharti Infratel has been reportedly awarded with a stake of around 0.5 percent in the company along with certain under employees under the Employee Stock Holding Option (ESOP) exercise undertaken by the company.

 

Earlier estimates had pegged valuation of Bharti Infratel at $10 billion. At 0.5 percent, Gupta’s stake comes out to be Rs 225 crore considering dollar value at Rs.45.
