ngpay makes finalist cut in ‘Red Herring 100 Asia Award’
TT Bureau |  |  16 Oct 2008

ngpay, a mobile-commerce tool provider, said today it has been nominated as one of the  finalists for the Red Herring 100 Asia award, an award in the technology space, with the likes of Google, Yahoo, Skype, Netscape, Salesforce.com, and YouTube as its earlier recipients.

While commenting on the recognition, Sourabh Jain, CEO of NGpay stated, “We are very pleased to be recognized by Red Herring. What is happening on the ground in India rivals anything that is happening in other countries.  With the large and increasing mobile penetration in the country, mCommerce in particular will change the way the average Indian manages his or her life in much the same way that eCommerce revolutionized people’s behavior in the US and Europe.”
