Sony-Ericsson launches two India specific entry level handsets

Sony Ericsson launched R300i and R306i priced between Rs.3500-Rs5000 specially focused to the Indian market. It marks the first time that Sony Ericsson has designed handsets specially focused towards the Indian market. Additionally two more models, T270 and T280 were launched but the prices of these handsets were not disclosed.

 

"India is an important market for the company and Sony Ericsson plans to achieve a sales target of 10 million handsets from the India by 2009," said Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (India) General Manager Sudhir Mathur.
