BSNL, Novatium launch affordable broadband terminal offerings

BSNL and Chennai-based Novatium announced the introduction of ‘Thin Client Nova netPC’ with an aim to offer affordable devices for broadband subscribers of BSNL.

 

“This technology fills up the gap of non-availability of affordable devices to increase broadband penetration,” said BSNL CMD Kuldeep Goyal.

 

The set-up comprises of a set-top-box, keyboard and a mouse supplied by Novatium. This set-up is connected to Novatium server which will be located and maintained centrally at each city through BSNL’s broadband connectivity.

 

The set-up comes at a price of Rs 2,999 and a monthly rental of Rs 175.
