Wipro Infotech announced that it has developed an integrated Police Information System covering important activities related to the day-to-day functioning of the police departments like back-end administrative processes of General Administration, Finance & Stores etc.

Wipro claims that the application is developed on a flexible software architecture allowing it to be used in a centralized deployment mode as well as de-centralized mode. The application can work in co-ordination with other modules as well like crime, law, traffic etc.
