TT Bureau |  |  27 Jan 2009

Sasken Communications which currently is coping to overcome the global meltdown and especially from the after effects of bankruptcy filed by its client Nortel, is set to restructure its working schedule. Additionally employees will now be offered variable pay.

The variable pay will be linked to company’s performance and will form as much as 10 percent of salary structure.  The proposed measures will come into effect from February with payment to be reflected quarterly.

Trainees will now be asked to work for 60 percent of the week. Recruitment too has virtually been halted for the time being.
