VAS player, ValueFirst receives $6 mn funding from NEA

Enterprise mobile messaging firm, ValueFirst Messaging announced that it has received $ 6 million funding from New Enterprise Associates (NEA) and now aims to use the funds to facilitate its expansion.

 

The expansion plans include doubling the work force, extending presence to 35 cities and also to enhance product lines including voice and internet-based services. The company says it hopes to increase its client base from the current 1,000 to 10,000.

 

Additionally two subsidiaries, SpotOn and ValueFirst Connect will also be infused with funds.
