Google will offer paid applications from third party developers on its Android platform

Google said that it will expand its application offering to end-consumers to include paid application as well apart from the currently offered free applications.

 

This will allow third party developers to use the Goggle’s Android platform for smartphones and reach out to consumers.  Currently developers from the USA and the UK will be included in the initiative while later on developers from Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France and Spain will also be included.

 

Consumers will be able to buy the paid applications using Google Checkout payment product mode.
