TT Bureau |  |  09 Apr 2009

Sony Ericsson unveiled two new entry-level mobile handsets- S312 and the W205 from its popular Walkman series.

The S312 is bundled with a 2-megapixel camera and an inbuilt photo editing software. Additionally, it supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/900/1800. This handset will be available in the market from Q2 onwards.

Similarly, W205 has a 1.3-megapixel camera, built in FM radio and the music identification software, TrackID. It also has a pre-loaded Opera Mini Web browser. This latest Walkman entrant supports GSM/GPRS/900/1800 and will hit selected markets in the third quarter.

“The W205 is perfect for those who love portable music but have never had the Walkman phone experience,” said Timo Maassmann, Marketing business manager at Sony Ericsson.
