BSNL’s Chennai circle subsidiary, Chennai Telephones and Smart Digivsion Pvt. Ltd. announced the launch of Myway BSNL IPTV services.

"Customers can now watch over 150 channels using the telephone and broadband connection along with a set top box to be provided by Myway. They will also have access to other features like video and music on demand," said the tie-up.

The alliance will allow parents to activate child lock facility to block specific contents and channels through a PIN based system. The tie-up aims to introduce pause TV allowing live programs to be paused and then to be played back.

The services are available for upfront payment of Rs 2,500 or Rs 50 per month rental along with a refundable security deposit of Rs 1,000.
