TCS comes up with new development centre at Lucknow

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the launch of its new development centre, TCS Awadh Park at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.

 

The new centre is spread over 3 acres and has a capacity of 1,500 seats.

 

Commenting on the new facility CEO and MD of TCS, S. Ramadorai said, “Lucknow is an integral part of the TCS’ strategy to invest in Tier II cities and spread the IT revolution in the country. Lucknow has the potential to be a leader among the emerging IT destinations in India and it is this belief that has driven our strategy to invest in this area.”  He added: “TCS’ expanded footprint in Lucknow should also encourage more investments in the city to help it realize its shared dream of becoming an IT-BPO.”
