MTS India achieves one mn subscriber base landmark

Sistema Shyam Teleservices'' MTS India today announced reaching the one million subscriber base for its telecom services offered in India under the MTS brand.

 

On the occasion, Vsevolod Rozanov, President and CEO SSTL said, “The first magical number of a million gives us the confidence that the MTS brand is gaining popularity and our customers acknowledge and believe in the brand promise of superior network quality, exceptional customer service and honest & simple tariff plans.As a new telecom operator, our performance in the last 6 months has surpassed our expectations. I am confident that we will continue to progressively expand our presence with attractive pricing and superior customer care delivery. ”

 

Presently the JV has maximum subscribers from its Rajasthan operations with 87 % of the total subscribers from this circle.

 

The company aims to expand its presence to 11 circles by the end of this calendar year as compared to 4 circles of operation at present.
