Huawei inks Vendor Financing MoU with Etisalat

Chinese equipment vendor Huawei and UAE-based Etisalat have inked a Global Framework Agreement (GFA) and vendor financing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), pledging support for each other’s expansion undertakings.

 

“As the global economic downturn intensifies, both Etisalat and Huawei will jointly overcome these challenges through our partnership that has been established based on mutual trust and a win-win strategy. We are dedicated to addressing market needs in the most beneficial way to both parties and the whole society,” said Sun Yafang, Chairperson of Huawei.

 

With the GFA in place, both Etisalat and Huawei will improve their business efficiency.

And the financing MoU will see Huawei as the strategic partner that will provide the optimal financing solution to Etisalat.

 

“The agreement will further strengthen our valued relationship with Huawei “With the on-going strategic partnership, we will be able to provide more differentiated service offerings to the subscribers across our geographical reach,” stated Mohamed Omran, chairman of Etisalat and Sun Yafang,

 

In addition, a joint Application Innovation Center (AIC) will also be set up, with the aim of enhancing the operator’s competitiveness and sustaining the business growth.
