BSNL does not bids for Tunisia licence
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  15 Jun 2009

BSNL did not bid for the mobile services licence in Tunisia citing that the licence base price did not justified a viable business proposition, reports the PTI.

As per BSNL, the base price for the licence was $ 10 million in Tunisia which has a mobile penetration rate of more than 80 %.

The PSU is however focused on its plans to invest outside India especially in the African markets, adds the PTI report.
