Samsung comes up with ‘Samsung Marine’ for the adventurous

Samsung India announced the launch of ‘Samsung Marine’ handset which is positioned as a model targeted towards those who live their life outdoors meaning those who are adventurous and require a robust handset. 

 

The phone comes encased in anti-shock urethane material and is built to withstand bumps, bangs, scrapes, dust and water (upto 1m for 30 mins). Claiming to be tested under specifications defined by the US Department of Defence with Military Standard 810F (MIL-STD-810F), the company says that the model is adaptable for even the toughest environment – including rain, fog, humidity, sand and extremely hot and cold temperatures, etc.

 

Other features include loud external speakers, noise cancellation, flash light, camera, camcorder, FM radio, music player and expandable memory.

 

Available in green and red colours the model is priced at Rs 7030/-.
