Google India launches voice prompted search engine services for mobile subscribers

Google India launched a voice-based search engine services for India’s vast mobile services subscribers. Currently the service is limited to BlackBerry services. This marks Goolge India’s another initiative on the mobile front as the company had earlier launched a SMS-based search engine services.

Business Standard reports that the company is however facing a hurdle in the voice-based search engine offerings due to varied accent and pronunciation differences observed in India.
