 STMicroelectronics, which specializes in offerings ICs and Stollmann which offers communication protocol software, announced joining hands to offer turnkey NFC (Near Field Communication) interface solutions along with complete hardware as well as software components to manufacturers of handsets as well as mobile devices.
The solution will use ST’s NFC chips and Stollmann’s NFC software stack. It will have all the API and implementation technology required to meet NFC standards conforming with NFC Forum specifications.
