Dell announced the launch of its ProSupport Mobility Services for asset and data protection for the small and medium enterprise (SME) segment.

The company values the market for such services at $ 3.2 billion.

 “The new suite would help clients track and recover their lost laptops. It would also enable the users to delete the data remotely when laptops get stolen or are lost. Besides facilitating data recovery from hard disks, ProSupport Mobile Services destroys, if need be, data in a notebook in a secure way,” said Tim Griffin, Vice-President (Global Services – SMB group).

The company also announced that it will soon launch its ProManage and ProConsult products in the Indian market which offer on-call support to remote network management.
