TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  28 Aug 2009

Acision announced that it bagged a Multimedia Messaging Service Centre (MMSC) infrastructure managed services deal from Bharti Airtel replacing the operator’s current MMS solution provider.

Acision claims that its solution will enable Bharti Airtel to enhance the end-user experience for its MMS services, superior internet experience, charge for messaging and data use, analyse usage behaviour, control spam and malicious messages as well as format MMS images for any MMS compatible device.

Rory Buckley, Chief Executive of Acision, adds, “Acision has made significant investments in the Asian region, opening new offices and hiring experienced staff to drive growth. Bharti Airtel will undoubtedly benefit from our ongoing commitment to this region which has enabled us to provide the dedicated support required for this type of managed service.”
