BSNL’s fixedline subscribers in Haryana to have access to CRBT services from IMImobile
TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  08 Sep 2009

Taking a cue from the popularity of Caller Ring Back Tone (CRBT) on the mobile medium, state-run PSU, BSNL has now extended the services even to its fixedline services in Haryana in tie-up with Hyderabad-based VAS player, IMImobile. Fixedline subscribers in Punjab, UP East, UP West and Rajasthan are already having access to such service.

“Given our experience of CRBT service over mobile we are confident that the CRBT over landline will be a huge success. Our robust and scalable technology coupled with content management and promotions tailored specifically for Northern India are the driving factors behind this partnership,” says Mr. Vishwanath Alluri – Founder & CEO of IMImobile.

The services can be availed for a monthly rental of Rs 25 with Rs 12 to be charged for each song downloaded. Users will have access to 100,000 songs ranging from Bollywood to regional flavour from Haryananvi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Rajasthani as well as devotional content with special emphasis on content appealing to the Haryana region.
