Following Rajeev Suri’s elevation as the company CEO, Ashish Chowdhary will now oversee the Services business division for the company. Chowdhary will be based out of Noida and will also join the company’s executive board.

“As head of one of the fastest growing segments within Services and a proven leader, Ashish is the natural successor to Rajeev,” said Simon Beresford-Wylie, Nokia Siemens Networks’ chief executive officer. “He will make an excellent addition to our Executive Board.”

Chowdhary has over 20 years experience in the ICT industry having worked for Nokia as well as Hughes Communications. He holds graduate degree in Mathematics from Delhi University, Masters degree in Computer Science from Emory University and MBA from the Wharton School.
