Vodafone launches one paise per sec plans in Mumbai, Kerala

Vodafone Essar extended the one paise per second billing tariff plan to Mumbai and Kerala circles offering local and STD calls at one paise per second within its network.

Calls made to other networks will be charged at 1.2 paise per second.

The voucher for the plan is priced at Rs 52 and comes with a one year validity.

"1p/sec will allow our customers to enjoy chhota conversations and pay for what they use. We will continue to offer the per minute tariff plans allowing customers to choose the plans that best suit their needs," said Vodafone Essar Mumbai, CEO, Naveen Chopra.

In Kerala the voucher is priced at Rs 67 for new subscribers and Rs 64 for existing subscribers. It comes with an Rs 5 talk time.

Existing subscribers in Kerala have additionally two more options, Rs 250 and Rs 125 voucher with talk time of Rs 244.65 and Rs 111.33 respectively. The validity for Rs 250 voucher is 30 days while for Rs 125 the validity is 15 days.

SMS, Roaming and ISD rates remain unchanged and will be applicable as per the customers’ base tariff plan.
