Geodesic launches ‘Spokn’ VoIP services

Mumbai-based Geodesic launched new VoIP service branded, Spokn which the company claims is a new generation service bridging the PSTN and VoIP networks.

The service allows users to communicate on a range of devices such as mobile phones, smart phones and wireline connections. Spokn users can be touch with their peers irrespective of whether they are online or offline.

The company further claims that the service is first in the world to allow users to communicate with others from over 40 countries at the cost of a local call.

The service also offers Voice Messaging Service (VMS) which enables user to record and send a 20 second message to any telephone connection or email. VMS to emails are free and VMS to phones have cost that includes a free 20 sec reply.

Users can acquire local phone number for $ 1 per month.
