Samsung conducted its first meet as part of its Samsung Mobile Innovator forum for application developers in India.
The Core Members Meet aims to provide developers who make applications for Samsung Mobile Application Store to get help, support for testing applications before they are launched for commercial use. The platform presently supports applications built on Java, Windows Mobile and Symbian.
Speaking on the occasion, stated Mr. Amy Purushotham, VP-Strategy at Samsung R&D in India, “The Samsung Mobile Innovator Program is a global initiative from Samsung and provides a significant opportunity for mobile developers to create applications and services on Samsung devices for a global audience. We are still in the early stages of the program at present but I see this program growing very rapidly in India , as it is in other parts of the world.” |
