Vodafone betters its one paise per second billing offer

Vodafone Essar today enhanced its one paisa per second plan in Karnataka by offering the tariff even to local and STD calls made to other networks other than Vodafone. Currently calls made to other networks under per second billing were charged 1.20 paisa.

The new voucher comes at a price of Rs 66 for new subscribers including free SIM, lifelong validity and tariff validity one year from the date of recharge. For existing subscribers the voucher will be available for Rs 64.

 As before, roaming and ISD rates remain unchanged and will be applicable as per the customers’ base tariff plan.

Sankara Narayanan, Chief Executive Officer - Karnataka, Vodafone Essar South Limited, says “In our continued effort to empower customers, this enhanced 1p tariff offering is even simpler and more convenient as there is no differential rate for calls within or outside our network.
