HCL Infosystems adopts a new enterprise channel strategy
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  18 Nov 2009

HCL Infosystems Ltd. today unveiled its new enterprise channel strategy by launching Enterprise Commercial Channel (ECC) with an objective to strengthen the company’s presence in the SMB segment.

Channels partners will now be able to offer HCL’s ICT product and solution offerings to the SMB segment.

HCL has now categorized its channel partners as Strategic Business partners, Business Partners & Registered Resellers.

Commenting on the new development Mr. George Paul, Executive Vice President, HCL Infosystems Ltd said, “Our strength over the years has been our strong relationship with the channel community and through this initiative we are sure that to take it even further. With this strategic approach we will be able to address the upcoming SMB market a lot better and are confident that this strategy will prove to be a win – win situation for customers, channel partners and HCL”.

“As SME sector is becoming more organized and aware about the role technology can play, they are looking beyond desktops and laptops for their ICT infrastructure. Apart from this, for Basic IT Infrastructure they also seek business automation and integration. They look up to the channels to be the complete ICT solution provider instead of being an IT Infrastructure vendor. Through Enterprise Commercial Channel we would address this need by empowering Channel to act as a knowledge resource for SMBs.” he added.

HCL Infosystems plans to work with 100 strategic business partners and 400 channel partners  across the country addressing the SMB segment.
