Mobile Store offers ‘IMEI implant service’ to blocked subscribers

Essar Group’s The Mobile Store is offering help to all those subscribers whose mobile connection has been deactivated over continued use of phones without valid IMEI. The service is priced at Rs.199.

 

Ms. Arti Mehta, Chief Marketing Officer, The MobileStore says “The IMEI number is used by the GSM network to identify valid devices. We have successfully done over 30,000 IMEI implants at our 160 stores in 60 cities. IMEI number is an important tool for the handset tracking. This is a step in the right direction to support national security program.”
