BSNL too follows MTNL in lagging behind for being MNP ready
TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  07 Dec 2009

BSNL along with MTNL has informed the government that it is not yet ready to upgrade its network to be MNP ready before the deadline of December 31, 2009.

The reasons cited are lack of time to upgrade the network, tariff plans and billing among others.

The PSUs have sought time till April to be fully prepared for MNP.
