Bharti Airtel ties up with US-based Limelight for CDN services

Bharti Airtel tied up with Limelight Networks to launch content delivery network (CDN) services in India.

As part of the agreement, the tie-up will set up servers in Chennai and Mumbai where Airtel has network infrastructure in place through its undersea cable network.

The deal will allow Bharti Airtel to offer rich multimedia services to its subscribers at a high quality experience.

Limelight claims to be world’s second largest CDN company in terms of revenues.
