Intex launched two new models INTEX IN 6622 and INTEX i Smart in the Indian market.

INTEX IN 6622 is a dual SIM phone supporting two GSM SIMs, 7.1 cm TFT display screen. It has a unique ‘SIM Lock’ feature allowing the user to key-in a password whereby the phone becomes useless in events of thefts. It also has a 2GB expandable memory, 2 mega pixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPRS, Audio & Video player. An animated monkey guides the user to browse through the phone. It is available in deep-red, white and black colours. The model is priced at Rs 4,800.

INTEX i Smart which has a QWERTY keypad and is also a dual SIM phone has a expandable memory of 4GB, a camera with flash which can also serve as web camera, Bluetooth with A2DP and PC synchronisation. It has a 5.9 cm screen with a motion sensor as well as track ball for navigation and a 1450 mAh battery with 10 days of stand-by. It is priced at Rs 4,600.
