LAVA launches A9 dual-SIM handset in the Indian market for Rs 5,999

LAVA International launched its new LAVA A9 handset in the Indian market which is positioned around its multimedia capabilities.

 

The dual SIM handset has a 2.4 inch screen, FM radio & recording, MP3/4, WAP, GPRS as well as preloaded with Nimbuzz and Opera Mini. The model has a 3.2 mega pixel camera.

 

The handset is available in Silver and White colours.

 

The  handset also has social networking related features incorporated into it. It is priced at Rs 5,999.

 

Praveen Srivastava, Head Sales and Marketing says, “The next generation internet is redefining the way we use and experience the internet. Web blogs, uploading pictures and videos on sites where one can share and comment, swapping and remixing of playlists, photos, videos, search, shopping, news – its made possible on LAVA A9 and now the phenomenon of online social networking, where users can catch up with old friends and make new ones while updating them of their lives by posting snappy comments.”

 

The company aims to target the tech savvy, fashion conscious, youth segment with this new model.
