Samsung unveils new version of Jet series, Jet 2 in India priced at Rs.19,500

Samsung launched a new version of its Jet series, Jet 2 in India having a 16M WVGA AMOLED display (3.1”) and operating in the 800 MHz. The phone is priced at Rs.19,500.

The new version has some additional features incorporated such as Google Push Email and also allows media content sharing technology among DLNA certified devices. The main display supports navigation through widgets.

Ranjeet Yadav, Director- Mobile & IT, Samsung Electronics states,”Today’s mobile users seek smart features and easy-to –use user interface in their mobiles. Samsung Jet 2 combines both these qualities and gives the user a superior and differentiated experience.”

The phone uses Samsung’s Dolphin Internet browser and also makes sue of 3D media gate enabling easy access to multimedia features, such as Photo album, Music player, Video player, FM Radio, Games and internet, all simply accessed by rolling a six sided cube UI on the screen. Users can also view TXT, PDF and PPT files.

It has a 5 mega pixel camera, built-in GPS, DNSe & SRS Sound Effect technology for superior sound quality, and DivX and XviD video support for hassle-free video downloading and viewing.
