Andrew Solutions claimed that third party laboratory testing and certification firm, Telab B.V. has authenticated the superior performance of Andrew’s smoothwall aluminum cable solutions offered to the communications industry.
Andrew says that its HELIAX® 2.0 FXL solution is the first aluminum cable tested by Telab to pass 10 rounds of environmental testing, proving its durability in extreme temperatures.
While testing, the solution’s solid triple-bonded construction also demonstrated superior crush resistance while surpassing or meeting the electrical performance specifications set by Telab for 26 other trials.
“Superior design and construction—that is the message we have been delivering with HELIAX FXL smoothwall for years, which Telab has verified in these independent tests,” said Navin Vohra, vice president of Sales, Andrew Solutions India and SAARC. “Wireless operators around the globe are realizing greater cost-effectiveness, improved flexibility, decreased installation times, less tower loading, and excellent RF performance with HELIAX FXL.”
The tests were conducted based on China Communications Standard Association’s YD/T 1092-2004 standard, which defines performance requirements for coaxial cable used in the nation’s wireless communications industry. |
