 State-owned MTNL will receive Rs 1,380 crore as tax refund for five assessment years following an order passed to this affect by the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT).
The refund includes Rs 624 crore as interest for fiscal years 1998-99, 1999-2000, 2000-01, 2002-03 and 2005-06. |
