Apalya claims 37% rise in subscriber base within 12 days of IPL-3 launch

Mobile video service provider, Apalya Technologies which has acquired exclusive rights to offer mobile video content for IPL matches, claims to be registering 37% rise in subscriber base within 12 days of launch of IPL-3. Tournament.

Importantly the company expects to double its revenues by the end of IPL.

It claims that over 30,000 viewers accessed the opening ceremony of IPL on mobile handsets.
