Reliance World in tie-up with robo.in, a division of ThinkLABS launched a Robotics camp in Bangalore to be followed by launches in 25 more cities of India.
The company says that initiative, ROBOCAMPTM aims to give students in India an opportunity to get introduced to Robotics technology.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Sunil Buch, EVP and Head of Marketing & Broadband Group, Reliance Webstore Limited, said, “Reliance World has always leveraged technology and reach to bring innovative services to virtually every neighbourhood of the country. With ROBOCAMPTM, we wish to spark an interest in Robotics among students at an early stage—in big cities as well as small towns--and equip them to take up this discipline in later years.”
Mr. Gagan Goyal, founder of Robo.in and an alumnus of IIT, Mumbai said, “ROBOCAMPTM has been designed keeping the academic curricula in mind. Besides introducing participants to Robotics, the camp will elucidate many principles of Science and Mathematics through interesting demonstrations and hands-on robot building sessions. By partnering with Reliance World, we are able to take ROBOCAMPTM to 26 Indian cities at one go and offer participants the well-equipped and comfortable environs of Reliance World for learning.”
