Airtel has announced ‘Super Lifetime Validity’ offer to its customers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. New customers can avail themselves of the offer by buying a starter pack at Rs 49 and recharging with Rs 250 coupon. Existing customers can avail themselves of the offer by recharging with Rs 250. The other benefits available are that all local calls will be charged at Rs 1 per minute, special booster packs are available to reduce tariff below Rs 1 and full talk time for a period of three months.

Airtel Mobile Services, CEO, Chennai and Tamil Nadu, Mr Rajiv Rajagopal, said that the super lifetime offer is also available for customers buying a Nokia 1208 or 6030 handset that would comprise an Airtel SIM and lifetime validity upon recharging with Rs 200 coupon, along with the triple benefits mentioned. Those with the handsets already under the Airtel-Nokia tie-up can move to lifetime validity, he added.
