ZTE claims leadership position in EV-DO Rev.B Tests for TTSL
TT Correspondent |  Mumbai |  06 May 2010

ZTE Corp claimed that it has emerged as the leader among other vendors in race for Tata Teleservices’ (TTSL) EV-DO Rev.B tests carried in the company’s lab.

“The main objective of the test was to check the EV-DO Rev.B network solution to be deployed by Tata Teleservices, India''s second largest CDMA carrier.  Both ZTE and Tata Teleservices took the EV-DO Rev.B test seriously as it would later impact customer satisfaction. The test that we conducted in the Tata Teleservices’s lab was a great success. Our reverse and forward rate was far better than our competitors. The perfect testing results proved that ZTE CDMA is the #1 in the field,” said Dr. Ghosh, Chairman & Managing Director, ZTE Telecom India Pvt Ltd.

The tests analysed equipment testing, frontal PK process and ZTE further says that the forward rate was more than 6.2 Mbps and reverse rate was 3.6 Mbps.
