TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  26 May 2010

SatNav Technologies announced the launch of three freebies for visitors, delegates and officials of the Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2010 to be held in New Delhi from October 3 to October 14, 2010.

The freebies include downloading SatGuide Software for Nokia’s Symbian-based phone users and use the Delhi2010 map to reach the CWG venues.

Another freebie is Locator Application, SatTracx for a one month free subscription from September 25 to October 25, 2010.

Said Amit Prasad, Founder and MD of SatNav Technologies, “The Games are a good example of how users can save time and improve their efficiency just by better utilizing the information that is available in common domain today. 28 yrs ago during Asia games the lack of good quality maps would have posed challenges which are non-issues today. By making all three SatNav Technologies, of our CWG focused offering for FREE, our goal is to spread awareness on how these applications and current technologies can improve our day to day life.”
