vRock Mobile bags exclusive ‘Mobile Rights’ for Asia Cup

vRock Mobile bagged exclusive rights for mobile content related to the ongoing Asia Cup Cricket Tournament held in Sri Lanka.

 

vRock Mobile has bagged the rights from Nimbus Sports via Offspin Sports & Entertainment. The rights are applicable across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

 

Commenting on the association Mr. Yannick Colaco, Chief Operating Officer, Nimbus Sport said, “The association with vRock Mobile is an important effort to extend the Asia Cup fan experience to a new and unique delivery platform. In this new age mantra of convergence, mobile phones are set to play a vital role in delivering a unique fan experience and it is critical for a tournament like  Asia Cup to deliver on that platform. Through this association, Asia Cup fans will now be able to access scores and information on matches, get LIVE commentary and participate in interactive programmes and contests – all from their very own mobile phone."

 

vRock will provide live score alerts through multiple delivery channels like USSD and SMS, Live Video Streaming, Video Clips, IVR with English commentary from Nimbus Sports, Mobile Games, WAP and Mobile Internet etc. These rights are conferred across CDMA/GSM/WAP/EDGE/3G and all other standards of mobile/wireless communications along with engagement through mobile contest.
