Semiconductor, mobile software & system design services provider, SmartPlay and chip-maker Qualcomm have joined hands to offer 3G phones and smartphone solutions supporting multiple operating systems such as Brew and Android.
SmartPlay will launch such devices built jointly by the alliance in the Indian market by late 2010 and later on launch the devices and solutions in South East Asia, Middle East, Africa and other emerging markets by 2011. For the Indian market, SmartPlay will also launch a mass market product.
