ZTE Corp. announced the completion of lab and field tests of LTE for UAE’s Etisalat.

The tests included LTE field trials at Etisalat’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi, and measure functionality and performance throughout the network infrastructure, including the Uni-RAN based LTE base stations, SAE core network, unified network management software and test terminals.

Currently, ZTE is the only vendor recognized by the Etisalat Group and awarded with an LTE/SAE test certificate from the UAE service provider.
