HCL Infosystems acquired 60% stake in Dubai’s IT services and solutions company, NTS Group with an overall aim of expanding its global footprint in the Middle East and African market.

On the acquisition, Ajai Chowdhry, Chairman and CEO, HCL Infosystems said, “Today we open a new chapter unfolding in HCL Infosystems’ history as we strengthen our global presence with the addition of Middle East. This acquisition will see NTS’s customer relationships across the Middle East get access to the HCL Infosystems three decades of expertise in the space. The completion of this acquisition represents a significant step for HCL Infosystems in our transformation strategy to accelerate growth in our targeted international markets, offering a complete set of products, service and solutions.”

Under the new set-up, HCl Infosystems and NTS will focus on building business with NTS becoming a beachhead to cater to the Middle East and African Market.
