Chinese telecom vendor, Huawei Technologies is banking big on its SingleRANBroad solution targeted towards CDMA operators.

Sharing ideas about the company’s business plans at the 5th Global CDMA Operation & development Forum in Shanghai, the company showcased its SingleRANBroad solution which the company says enables CDMA operators to meet the increasing demand for mobile data services by facilitating a smooth evolution to EV-DO/LTE. Huawei further claims that the solution promises to deliver precise network coverage while also significantly broadening the mobile network bandwidth through improved spectrum efficiency.

Participants from the operator community at the event included China Telecom, Sprint Nextel, Leap, KPN and TATA.
