ZTE Corp announced that research firm, Gartner has placed it in the Magic Quadrant for Softswitch technology capability including its R&D investments.

“We are honored to be one of the Softswitch leaders recognized by Gartner’s Magic Quadrant Report. It is a significant milestone for ZTE’s sustainable developments and a clear endorsement of our Softswitch and IMS solutions by the industry,” said Mr. Xu Ziyang, Vice President of ZTE.

According to the Gartner report, over 34% of ZTE’s workforce and 10% of its annual revenues are committed to R&D initiatives. The report gives credit to ZTE for managing to register 35% revenue growth in Softswitch market when the overall market witnessed a decline of more than 10%.
