Aircel launches initiative across major cities to help people during rainy season

Mobile operator, Aircel has launched an initiative as part of its social responsibility to help people during heavy rains.

The initiative will cover Minto Bridge in Delhi, Deccan in Pune, Hi-Tech City Subway in Hyderabad, Koramangala in Bangalore, Vytila in Cochin, Madipakkam & Velachery in Chennai, Andheri Subway & Milan Subway in Mumbai, Park Circus in Kolkata, Agra-MG Road in UP (West), T.C. Point, Guwahati in Assam, Laxmi Sagar in Bhubaneshwar, Odissa, Dak bangle in Patna, Bihar and Sikandrbagh in Lucknow, UP (East).

Under the initiative, Aircel has put up a boat on a hoarding at strategic places where there is water logging and excessive flooding during the rains, thereby causing a lot of chaos and inconvenience to the commuters and pedestrians who get stranded for hours in anticipation for help to come by.
