Bharti Airtel plans to launch iPhone 4 in India by October

Bharti Airtel said on Monday that it plans to launch Apple’s iPhone 4 in the Indian market by October this year.

"We are working with Apple. Hopefully, we will launch it in the September-October timeframe," Bharti Airtel CEO Sanjay Kapoor told reporters on the sidelines of a CII industry conference.

Vodafone Essar has already announced plans to launch the latest version of iPhone in India.
