TT Correspondent |  New Delhi |  17 Aug 2010

Ruckus Wireless announced the launch of a new Wi-Fi access point named ZoneFlex7761-CM based on the 802.11n standard designed specifically for the cable operators.

According to Ruckus, the new access point enables cable operators to equip the network with broadband services delivery capability and also multimedia services.

“Using the existing cable strand infrastructure to deliver reliable Wi-Fi access makes perfect sense and is a major focus for almost every cable operator in the United States,” said Selina Lo, president and CEO of Ruckus Wireless.
